'Makeup Rumours' Review - Lipsticks

Makeup Rumours is a website that sells all sorts of make-up ranging from eye, nail and lip products. The great thing about this site is that most items they sell are either £1 or £1.50 so you could basically renew your whole make-up for the small price of £10. I'm all for a bargain so I decided to try out some of these products and review them. I bought lots of bits but today I will be talking about lipsticks. Below are the four different colours that I tried.

The lipsticks on the websites are separated into different categories such as reds, pinks, brights and nudes. I don't often wear bright lipsticks so my first instinct was to look at the nudes and I picked two from this section. In general, I would like to say that all of the lipsticks are easy to apply and long-lasting, I wore each of these on several different occasions and even though I had to touch it up after eating, most of the time, the product remained in place and did not fade or smudge. Some others things I enjoyed are that the lipsticks did not dry out my lips and were very easy to remove at the end of the day and did not leave a stain.

1. Shade 16 - Nudes
This is the lightest shade of the two nudes that I purchased and I actually really like the colour of this. It gives your lips a very soft and light pink-ish tint and at the same time, adding a very natural look.
This is the type of lipstick I would wear on an every day basis to add to a basic make up look.

Shade 17 - Nudes
The second of the nudes is slightly brighter and a little bit of a more statement nude. I like this colour because it gives my lips a little bit of life but again, manages to make them still look natural. This is probably my favourite lipstick out of the four.

Shade 3 - Pinks
I was a bit vary of getting a pink lipstick or any bright lipsticks because I personally am not sure if I can pull them off, especially on an every day basis. However, I really love this pink. I definitely think this is a great lipstick to brighten up a basic make-up look or for a night out.

 

Shade 19 - Brights
This lipstick is in a shade that I can only describe reddy orange. Every body loves a red lipstick and this is a really great colour. It's got a really nice red colour as well as an orange tint and I think it's great for any occasion whether it's a day out or a night out or just a simple day shopping.

 

All-in-all if you're looking for some great products to try out for a very cheap price then I would definitely recommend Makeup Rumours. For the quality of the product, I am really surprised that they're so cheap. I also purchased a few eyeshadow pallets so let me know if you would like to see a review on those.
