Cream Eyeshadow Crazy

Over the last few years, I have kept my eye makeup very simple only adding mascara and eyeliner however, over the past few months I have discovered the beauty of eyeshadows and there is no going back. I'm going to be talking about three eyeshadows that I'm loving at the moment and hopefully this  may inspire some of you to branch out and become a little bit more adventurous with your eye make-up.

Maybelline Color 24hr Tattoo Gel Cream Eyeshadow - Pink Gold & On and on Bronze
To summarise the eyeshadow overall - it is really easy to apply (I do so with an eyeshadow brush) and spreads well and evenly through out the eye lid. It's long lasting and will last all day without smudging or fading - which is something that I adore about it. I also really like the packaging as from the top you can't see that the product has been used at all - giving it that fresh feeling. In general, I have realised I prefer cream eyeshadows as they are more long lasting and have a really nice shimmery  effect.

Out of the two eyeshadows from Maybelline, I purchased this Pink Gold shade first. I really liked the warm tone and the soft pink tint and thought that this would go well with my skin tone. I would say that this shade is for those days where you want to spice up your make-up and add a little bit of something to everyday look. I also love that this shade works great on its on and doesn't need other eyeshadows to add more colour.
I also went along and bought the On and On Bronze shade which in the packaging resembles a slightly gold colour however when applied its a very neutral bronze shade. I like this shade more for my everyday make-up especially when I want to keep my make-up really simple. It would be really great for school make-up as its pretty neutral. I also saw that Gabby (velvetgh0st) also used this in a Kim Kardashian make-up tutorial, so it can be used as part of a smoky eye and mixed with other eyeshadows very easily.

Rimmel London Eyeshadow Stick - Rose Gold
This shadow again has a creamy texture and is applied just from the tip as it is in the shape of a pencil, so there is no eyeshadow brush needed! Out of the two types of eyeshadow, I think this one is the slightly better quality as I do find that it lasts longer and is slightly easier to apply. It's also slightly different as the other eyeshadow has quite a shimmery look but this is a little bit more like the powder eyeshadows. The shade itself is a rose gold (true to its name) and despite the slightly brighter tint, it fits in well with an everyday look. It's something different for me but I have been wearing this colour a lot and I think it really suits a medium/olive skin complexion.

Let me know what your favourite eyeshadow shades are and what brands do the best ones.
