Birthday gifts & London Shopping Haul

It was my birthday recently so I got some lovely gifts and also, one of my presents was a trip to London which was obviously a good opportunity to do some shopping and buy myself even more things.

Starting with one of my favourite things I bought and that was the Olivia Burton watch.
  

I've been after this watch for a while but there aren't that many places that sell them so I thought London would be the perfect place to get them. I originally wanted this watch with a black strap however, after trying on a few I decided the brown strap looked better with my skin tone. I just think it's really pretty and simple at the same time & in comparison to the Michael Kors watches it was a bargain at just £75!

I then ventured into Topshop and couldn't help myself when I saw this lush bag.

I have never really had a bright bag before but I just really liked this one when I saw it. It's so simple yet it just stood out for me. I also thought as I wear a lot of dark/plain colours, this would brighten up my outfits. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have any pockets on the inside and is only shut by a magnet but apart from that I think it was a great purchase! Also from Topshop, I bought a new purse!

I have a massive love for big purses purely because I have so many cards and just things I like to keep in them. I just love the style and colour of this and it's the perfect size for me!

Urban Outfitters was my next stop and from there I purchased some hair bobbles & a nail varnish.

I've been looking for some cute scrunchies for a while and I thought these were perfect. Like I just said, I do wear a lot of plain colours so these again will help brighten my outfit. I adore this nail varnish colour also, I have heard a lot of people rave about the UO nail varnishes so I hope it's good!

My final stop in London was Victoria's Secret! 

Just like any girl, I have wanted to buy something from Victoria's Secret for FOREVER. However, as we all know it is pretty expensive. After wondering around in there for a bit, I saw a stand with lots of underwear where you could purchase 5 for the price of £20. Obviously I won't show the underwear I bought but I will tell you that it's all really pretty and the thing I love the most is that it says Victoria's Secret on it! Plus I really think for Victoria's Secret, this deal was a bargain.

That was all that I bought in London and now I'm gonna show you some of the things I received for my birthday! Possibly my favourite item was this skirt from River Island.

When I first went to try it on, I wasn't sure how this skirt would look with my figure however, I found it to be really flattering and I instantly fell in love. I really love the colours and the pattern (I believe they also do it in a baby pink) - for £25 I thought it was a bargain and an item that I could dress up or dress down.

I also received some white leather converse from Office.

I knew I wanted a pair of white converse however, when I saw these I instantly fell in love and of course they made it onto my birthday list. I'm not sure why I like the leather, I just think they're a bit different to your normal white converse but in similar way, they will go with everything. 

The final gift I'm going to blog is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume.

I am not 100% sure (and correct me if I'm wrong) but I think this is the limited edition summer one? Anyhow, I fell in love with the Marc Jacobs Daisy collection after I received some perfume testers. I absolutely LOVE the bottle and the perfume smells so light and just summery and nice.
