Mini Boots haul: the essentials

I ran out of some essentials in the last week so I went to Boots to top up. I like both Boots and Superdrug but I would say I prefer Boots especially because you get triple points on your card every time you shop and they always hand me some vouchers too!

First of all, this is a product I haven't tried before, I decided that I was getting so pale, something had to be done about it, so I invested in St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse.

I chose this particular one because it retails at £4.99 so it's a much cheaper option to some of the other fake tans. Also, I was a bit nervous in applying it because in the past I have had terrible luck with fake tan. However, I found that this applies really well, dries really quickly and doesn't actually go patchy. I found it very useful to get a tanning mitt with it is as well, which I got from Primark for £2.

The next product I purchased was the Rimmel 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polish. I got this nail polish in the colour '203 Lose your lingerie.'

The pictures don't really do the colour justice but it's a really nice baby pink shade and it also has a little shine to it. I applied two coats of this nail varnish and found that this was enough. I've been wearing it for a few days now and so far they're still looking like when I first painted them, which is pretty impressive. They also do a lot of pretty shades in this range, so it's worth checking out.

I also purchased the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser and this is an item I have purchased a few times now simply because it's really convenient and quick to use and gives great results.

If you haven't already guessed this is a moisturiser which you use in the shower. This product is particularly good for me because I can't always be bothered/don't always have the time to moisturise when I get out of the shower. This is great because you can just apply it in the shower, leave it on for a minute or so and then just wash it off again and whola! you have smooth legs. Another bonus, is that it smells really really nice.

The next product I'm going to tell you about is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner. It was that time again, to choose a new eyeliner for the next few months and this is the one that I decided on.

They do this eyeliner in thick and thin, depending on which brush you prefer but I chose the thin option. I chose this purely because I like to be very precise with my eyeliner and this gives me the opportunity to add detail. I have only used this eyeliner a few times but so far, I'm loving it. It's really easy to apply, it's also waterproof and it lasts all day. It's also sold at a reasonable price so I think it's great.

Finally, and probably one of the biggest essentials of them all, is the Batiste Dry Shampoo.

I have been using this product for a very long time. I mainly like it so much because I do have a lot of hair and sometimes it's not convenient for me to wash it every day. Applying Batiste just gives it that little bit more freshness. I also like to apply this when my hair loses it's shape or life, applying this dry shampoo gives it that little bit of volume and bounce back.

Hope you guys enjoyed this very mini haul, if you've got any further questions about the products just let me know below.
