Everyday Make-Up Routine

Hello and welcome back,

First of all, I'm sorry I have been away for so long. I'm going to try and write at least one post per week.

In this post, I'm going to be going through my everyday make-up look and showing you the items that I like to use in order to achieve this. Grab a cup of tea and enjoy :)

L'Oreal Paris Triple Day Cream

My skin gets quite dry especially after taking my make-up off the night before. I like to use this cream just before I apply my make-up to just soften my skin and make it feel fresh. I think it works really well and would recommend it to anybody who has normal to dry skin to just give their skin a little bit of life.
MAC Fix Fluid Foundation

I apply this straight after I have put the cream on.  I squeeze the product onto my hand and then apply little dots of the foundation all over my face. I then proceed to apply this with my Real Techniques Buffer Brush which is perfect for foundation! This is my all time favourite foundation. It makes my skin look flawless and it lasts the whole day. I tend to wear this on days where I'm going to be busy all day as I know I can rely on this foundation to stay on. It's also quite thick coverage so if you're having an extra bad skin day or just want to be more covered it is perfect for that.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer

My next step is to apply concealer under my eyes and in any areas that I feel need a little of lighting up. I usually make a 'V' shape with the concealer and I feel like it covers my dark circles well and brightens under and around the eye. I spread the concealer with the small brush first and then blend in with the Real Techniques Foundation Brush. This concealer is however quite light so on days where I'm really tired or just have really bad bags I would use another concealer.

Maybelline New York Eyebrow Pencil

I just like to go through my eyebrows with this pencil as it's not harsh and does add shape and colour to your eyebrows. This is perfect for everyday where I want my eyebrows to be nicely shaped but not stand out too much. I find that this pencil is really good value for money and lasts all day.

Maybelline New York Colour Tattoo & Real Technique Basics Palette 2

I alternate between both of these for my everyday make-up. Both are quite neutral colours that just add a little colour to an otherwise quite bland look. A lot of people don't like cream eyeshadows but I absolutely love this one, it's really easy to apply and is really pigmented. You have to build up the Naked eyeshadows a bit more so they take more time but again, they look great. I usually apply the shadow with the Superdrug eyeshadow brush (especially great for the crease) and use the Real Techniques Shading Brush to blend the eyeshadow.

Soap & Glory Eyeliner

I don't always apply this but it looks great with the look especially if you just want to add a little extra. This eyeliner is really easy to apply because of the pointy tip and is especially great for creating the cat wings.

L'Oreal Masterpiece Max Mascara

This is the final thing I apply in this make-up routine. This is my all time favourite mascara and I am always raving about it. It gives my lashes the perfect length and volume and for the price, it is better than any upmarket mascara I have ever tried.

Here is the final look! I just like to add some lip balm to make sure my lips are always soft and shining. I hope you enjoyed this post & let me know what other posts you would like to see from me.
