Quick Hair Tutorial - The Messy Bun

Everybody has their own way of doing a bun so I thought I would show how I do it. If you're really quite average at doing your hair and just want an easy way then this is definitely it. All you need is lots of hair clips and a few hair bobbles (depending on how thick your hair is)

Step 1. Just brush through you hair, make sure you get all your nots out. If your hair is wet or damp, make sure you dry it properly as it won't be as messy if its wet. Once your hair is all brushed, scrape it back into a high pony tail.

Step 2. Get a second hair bobble and take the hair that is in the pony tail and almost splat it on top of you head. Basically by 'splat' I mean make a very rough bun!

Step 3. Pull the hair out of the rough bun you created and place it under any bits of bobble you can find, keep pulling it out until you get the shape that you would like. I usually add a third hair bobble here just to secure the shape. Finally, add hair clips on any bits of hair that are sticking out, I like to put one at the back collecting any hair that has fallen out of the bun and a hair clip at the front as well. And then you should end up with a messy bun similar to this......
