May Favourites 2014

It's that time again, a new month and a new favourites post. There's a mixture of things I've been loving this month from beauty products to clothes to films and tv programmes and I'm going to share them all with you right now.

Starting off with beauty products, I have been loving the Maybelline Brow Drama brow mascara.

I haven't used any products on my eyebrows before however, I wanted to try something on them. I was looking for a product that gives my eyebrows a nice tint and shapes them but one that also makes them look natural. I am very happy with this product, it's easy to apply and goes on well and lasts all day. Additionally, it gives me that natural look I was going for and you don't have to apply a lot of it.

My next favourite is the Garnier Summer Body Mosturising Lotion.

I literally have the worst luck with fake tans. They never go on properly, I'm always left with patches or turn a really weird colour. I was about to give up on fake tanning all together until I discovered this product. It applies really nicely and smells really good too. Despite being a gradual tan, you will notice the difference in colour over night. And most importantly it doesn't go patchy! I got it in the deep sun kissed look colour and I really like this colour, as in my opinion, it looks really natural. If you do decide to try this product I would recommend using a tanning glove just because then you can be assured that there is going to be no patches and that the product will go on evenly. You can buy tanning gloves quite cheap at Boots and also at Primark.

My final beauty favourite for this month is the Pleats Please perfume.

I got this perfume for Christmas and have been using it occasionally however, this month I have totally fell in love with it again. It has a really nice sweet but elegant smell. It's also quite different from the other perfumes I wear as it's quite a mature smell. Also, I like that it's long lasting, if I put it on in the morning I will still be able to smell it in the evening.

My first fashion favourite is this Freedom watch from Topshop.

I used to have a swatch but it broke and as I don't have money to buy an expensive watch just yet (I'm saving!), I just needed a quick replacement. I like this watch as it's quite small and not bulky and won't stand out with your outfit if you don't want it too. I like the black strap as it makes the watch quite versatile. It also came with a few bracelets which you could pair the watch with if you wanted to add a bit of interest to it. All in all this watch has come in very useful to me this month.

Another fashion favourite this month is this shirt from New Look.

I've mentioned this shirt before in my one of my haul posts and I am literally enjoying wearing it so much. I've worn it with several different outfits and I think it's a really nice spring/summer piece. I just love everything about it & I've worn it a few times this month so I think it deserves a place in my favourites.

The Good Wife is one of my random favourites this month.

I am pretty sure I mentioned this show in my April Favourites as well but I literally have not being able to stop watching it. I absolutely love the storyline and the plot and all the actors, especially the main actress who is literally what I want to be like when I'm older. If you're looking for a new TV show to watch, you should definitely try this one, you will not regret it.

I went to see Bad Neighbours this month and I've got to say, it is probably one of my favourite films of all time.

It had me laughing the whole time and not to mention, the cast are pretty good looking with the likes of Zac Efron and Dave Franco, if that's not a good reason to go see it, I don't know what is!

Last but not least, and this one seems so random, I have been absolutely love this Twinings Camomile & Spiced Apple Tea.

I used to love just normal tea with milk but I have really got into green and herbal tea's this year in particular. This tea has been my favourite for months. It is really refreshing and tastes delicious. If you're looking to try something new then I would definitely try this tea. In addition, there's only 1 calorie in these teas so it's a less calorific alternative to normal tea!

That's it with all my May Favourites. Comment below and let me know what your favourites have been this month. Also, let me know if you've tried any of the products above and what you think of them. Especially let me know if you watch the Good Wife because I desperately need someone to discuss it with.
